Winter (1st October - 31st May)
The gates are open but the toilets are closed.

Rökkurró - Akureyri Cultural Festival
The opening ceremony of the Akureyri Cultural Festival will be held at the Lystigarður on the evening of Friday the 30th of August.
The ceremony includes dance, music and vocal performances held in the tranquil atmosphere of the illuminated garden.
The event begins at 8:30pm and is expected to end at around 10pm.
