Akureyri Cultural Festival (Rökkurró)
Rökkurró, the Akureyri Cultural Festival begins at the Lystigarður with a ceremony and entertainment held in the cosy evening atmosphere of the illuminated garden.
The event will be held on the evening of Friday the 30th of August and starts at 8:30pm.

Performances at the event include 'Pirates Haunt the Town' by the dance company Steps, vocal quartet Ómar, dance piece by Sunneva Kjartansdóttir, the North Icelandic Brass Quintet and will end with troubadour Svavar Knútur. More information about the event can be found here.
