Saturday the 16th of September is Icelandic Nature Day, why not enjoy it surrounded by nature at the Lystigarður

Opening ceremony of the Akureyri Cultural Festival will be held at the Lystigarður on 29th of August, starting at 8:30pm.

Join artist Galadriel González Romero at the Akureyri Botanic Garden as she creates a portal to the future. The event will take place on Sunday the 1st of June at 3:30pm in the Alpine garden of the Akureyri Botanic Garden. Wild-foraged tea will be on offer, if possible please come along with your own reusable tea cup.

The Indian Embassy of Iceland is offering a guided yoga session at the Akureyri Botanic Garden on Monday 2nd of June from 3-4pm. The session will be held on the grass below the garden office (Eyrarlandstofu) and there is no participation fee.
